This book captures the life stories of 40 Maharashtrians in South India, some of whom grew from very humble backgrounds, but all of them making a mark on their profession and significant and lasting contributions to the community at large. Fittingly this book is released during the centenary year of Mahratta Education Fund, an organization doing yeomen service for education of poor and deserving students of the Maharashtrian community.
